Help Upgrading Old Tank

Hi,

i am new to this forum, relatively new to reefing, so all advice is appreciated.

I am taking control of my fathers tank as he hasn't a clue. The current tank is a JUWEL 190 Litre (quarter of a cylinder shape) tank. It has a about 40lbs of live rock and is stocked with a Marine Betta, Neon Damselfish, Lemonpeel Angel, Matted Filefish, Niger Trigger and a Mantis Shrimp (hitchhiked his away).

The current tank is going to be upgraded to a Revoreef Infinty v380 (380 litre) tank http://ift.tt/2AhPeLJ[ , which has been installed, just awaiting water, rocks, sand, live stock etc. It has a sump . My dad wants a pretty tank with corals and nice fish, hence the upgrade to this modern tank.

The new tank will have an additional 20lbs of dry rock and all new sand (maybe a cup or two of the old). During the cycle phase I plan to use a couple of the old rocks from the tank to speed up the process. Once cycled can I add the rest of the live rock from the old tank over at once or will this shock the system; if so what is the best way to get the old and new rock together? Also should the more docile fish (Filefish, Betta & Damsel) be added first for a few days followed by the more aggressive Lemonpeel and Trigger?

As for the mantis shrimp he lives in one of the rocks and has stolen several fish in the past. Can he be placed in the sump, refugium? Occasionally fed mysis.

Finally as more fish and eventually corals will be added to this tank do you recommend an acclimation box so that the Lemonpeel doesn't bully them on first introfuction?

P.S. the only current form of clean up crew is a long spine black urchin (since day one) and several red hermit crabs, I believe all snails are gone. I know a dozen or so snails should be added to this new tank.

Thank you and any advice is much appreciated.
