I have a 93 corner heavily stocked with SPS. Recently, I added a DP4 dosing pump to keep up with tank demands on Cal/Alk and Mag and after about a month it seems to be working using ESV B-Ionic 2 part and Mag. Cal ~400, Alk ~9dkh and Mag ~1350 (elos). My dosing volumes have been very heavy and I have just about blown through 1 gal (ea) of the 2 part. At 40 bucks a pop, I decided to drop my 2 part back by 30 percent and add it back in using my 4th peristalic on the DP4 using Kalk at 1 1/2 tsp per gallon. Has anyone done this?...if so, is there a direct correlation in volume from 2 part to kalk?...in other words, I cut 30/30 ml (total 60ml) of 2 part out and am now dosing that 60 ml back using kalk. I just started this and will continue to test but I am looking for someone to tell me im a genius, orrrrrr, I have lost my mind and should have my tank taken away from me.:jester:
