Setting up new Coralife Biocube 14g

After many years of freshwater tanks, setting up my first saltwater reef tank in Coralife Biocube 14. After watching many Youtube videos and reading threads on this forum, here is my current setup.

- stock lighting
- 10 lbs Nature's ocean live sand
- 10 lbs of live rock bought at LFS
- saltwater bought from LFS
- added a Koralia nano 240 gph pump
- took out bioballs and put in 500mL of Seachem matrix in a bag in chamber 2
- put in 100mL Seachem matrix carbon in between chambers 2 and 3
- 50 watt EHEIM Jager heater
- still have the mechanical filter that came with the tank. will replace it will a sponge soon.

Today is day 4. Water is clear. No sign of diatom algae or any algae yet. Fed the tank with 1/8 spoon of Mysis shrimp. Will continue to do so every other day.
