Ive been working on getting my sump up and running for the last few weeks and Ive run into a strange issue with my Marineland Pro 300. If the thing is completely dry, as in hasn't been submerged in a week the first time you put power to it there is no problem. It runs like a champ and lets you adjust the airflow. But if you cut the power it just stops, the pump runs but no where near where it should be. Ive tried several vinegar baths, every time with the same symptoms. Before I trash the thing I would like to know where to start looking if I can fix it.
