Driving home today I saw a tank on the side of the road do I stopped. Turned out to be a 46 gallon bow front oceanic tank with a sticky note that says free. So I took it home and have it a nice vinegar/water bath. Seems to be in decent condition but who knows how old it is and how long it's been dry.
My question is would it be safe to use? Is there a way to strip the seals and redo them. And if so should I do that. I love this style tank and I was actually debating buying one and switching everything from my 40 gallon boring tank.
