What to feed during vacation?

If I am feeding nothing but frozen brine now and not flakes or pellets, what am I to feed them during vacations away from home for a week or so? Can't put shrimp in the auto feeder, obviously. And my two cardinals won't eat anything but shrimp. They won't eat pellets for flake. They can go for a good amount of time without eating so they are not my main concern. They've been pregnant four or five times now and the male goes without eating for a month usually. (never had a successful outcome though.)
