oseymour's tank info

I've been in this hobby for about a year and I think I'm at the point where after wasting money and taking bad advice I'm finally at the point where I can get corals to grow. Maybe I just needed to be patient and wait for the tank to mature.



I'm running a 37 gallon tank with an 11 gallon Aqueon Proflex model 1 sump. 3 inch deep sand bed, lots of rock, I don't know how many pounds but its a good balance between space for corals and space for the fish to grow



AquaMaxx HOB-1 skimmer which is hanging on the side of the sump.

Phosban 150 reactor running carbon and gfo.

Two Vortech Mp10s

Lights are a single AI Hyrdra Module

I had more fish but my tank took off when I got rid of some of them. (gave away to people)



I know the tang and coral beauty will get too big for this tank but I'm planning on getting a larger tank soon and I have buddies that have larger tank that will take them

My sump has a small refugium area where I grow cheato.



I just ordered a custom sump from advanced acrylics in california which will give me a larger refugium area.
