nitrate issue again

I just wanna see if its ok to add this stuff to help my nitrate issue, because i wanna lower those so i can add a couple of peppermint shrimps to try and help with aiptasia. So will this be ok to add to my tank, if it does work then ill go on with putting some shrimp in my tank or will this stuff work too?
