Hey everyone! :wavey: I signed up years ago but never introduced myself or posted. Sorry for the delay!
I'm in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. I started off with a 3 gallon JBJ, and quickly outgrew it. Upgraded to a 28 gallon JBJ and had that for a few years, but in recent months (after a crash, losing almost all my corals...I lost my love for that tank) I decided to switch things up (and get rid of the prehistoric, hideous tank) and now I have a Nuvo 8. I'll post pictures soon. :)
Plans for tank: I'm pretty stocked on corals; my live rock gave me tons of credit at my LFS. As I find frags that I really want, I'll probably trade out some of my existing corals that aren't my favorite. At this time, I don't have the intent to upgrade the lighting, but that could change. I've done all of the mods that I want for now, but I really need to invest in an ATO. I'm also debating getting a fish. I really want one tiny black clown but I'm still on the fence. Right now I just have a fire shrimp and a cleaner shrimp, which is fine with me.
Aside from my tank, I enjoy...googling away my insomnia, impulse amazon purchases, freelance graphic design, good ole Louisiana food, spoiling my boxer (Jax), going to the shooting range, music, outdoors (when it isn't 100° outside), and long walks on the beach. Oh wait, this isn't a dating site. Scratch the walks on the beach. I like beer.
