Change your return pump?

Hello,

I wanted to ask if I should change my return pump? Is that something most of you do as a routine? My return pump is going on 5 years running, i am wondering if i should just let it run until it dies or should i look into getting a new one to replace. its strange to me because i have changed out my skimmer pumps at least 4 times in the time i have had this return pump. I believe the return pump is a Rio so it wasnt top of the line or anything. Thank you
