Starting a new tank for first time

Hello,



I visited this site awhile back and read a lot of the cool stuff on here, but my urge to start a new tank got postponed a bit, but I'm finally ready to start my first saltwater tank.



I wanted to start a post to try to get as much information as possible on what path to take. Any information as to what kind of tank I should get, what steps are needed, what kind of fish work best is all welcomed. As I mentioned, my experience with this is limited to reading what others have posted, so I want to take it slow and do it right.
