Just found this on my prep for show.
PANAMA CITY BEACH, Fla. (AP) Two jet fighters have splashed into the Gulf of Mexico off the Florida coast. But it's not a crash. It's a tourist attraction. The obsolete F101 Voodoo fighters were deliberately sunk near Panama City Beach. The Cold War era aircraft are part of a growing artificial reef program. They'll attract fish and divers. The planes had been displayed on land, but had to be moved to make way for construction. Local dive shop owner Patrick Green dove to the site moments after the sinking. He says fish are there already. He adds the 76-foot depth is a "perfect, nonchallenging dive."
