Nem dangerously close to my clam

Oh no, nem has moved a few inches and is now cuddling up to the clam. Who should I try to move? Both are risky. Or should I just wait and see if the nem continues his painfully slow movement. I though about aiming a powerhead at the nem but that would damage the clam. Ahhhhh! Or will the clam be ok as it is.

Any advice?
