Fuge Light to intense?

I haven't had any success with my macros in my fuge. Kind of a noob to the refugium scene; did a lot of reading but it hard to sort out proven effectiveness and if I'm doing it wrong.

Tank is about 4-5 months old after upgrading from a 10 gal tank + 10 gal sump clown/anemone tank.

(Tested with API kits)

Temp: typically around 79-79.7

PH - 8.2

Amm/Nitrite - 0

Nitrate/Phos - undetectable

Calc - 400

Mag - ? (don't have a kit for this)

dKH - 10

DT:

50 gal breeder

36" reef breeder LED

Jaebo RW-8 wave maker

2 Hydor Koralia's (forgot the size)

3-4 inch bed of oolite sand

est 50-60lbs of LR

Live stock:

2 1/2 inch maroon clown

1 inch maroon clown

lawn mower blenny

GBTA (about 2x size of the clown)

2 1/2 inch mandarin

Small Monti Cap Frag

Small Green Star Frag

est 30 dwarf cerith's (apparently they have been breeding like rabbits?)

4 Blue legged hermits

6-7 nassarius snails

Sump/Fuge:

20 gallon long (diy baffles)

Couple pieces of rubble

est 2 inch oolite sand bed.

Reef Octopus NWB110 skimmer (currently wet skimming, empty twice a week)

Kent media reactor running carbon

Phosban 150 running GFO

Mag 7 return pump

Light fixture is cheapo clip on with screw in style bulbs

Macro:

Small amount of Ulva that pods keep munching away at and a ball of chaeto that keeps shrinking.

As for bulbs in the fuge, I've tried a few. 5000k LED flood light, 6500k CFL flood light and the grow light I have now. (link below)

I have had no luck with any of the bulbs and thought maybe the light is too intense. I thought maybe just low nutrients as I don't feed heavy, but I have a GHA issue that I can't seem to get rid of in the DT so I assume it is getting its nutrients from somewhere.

I have limited height in the fuge area so unfortunately I can't raise the light up higher.

Also a side note, I didn't have any success with growing the macro even though I didn't have the phosban reactor and had a crappy skimmer that never worked correctly (always overflowed). During this time, I did have small amounts of Nitrate/Phosphate but still no macro growth, only shrinkage :(

Any suggestions on where I can improve/point out what im doing wrong/right would be greatly appreciated! Below is my light schedule for the DT. The fuge light kicks on 30 minutes before the lights go off and goes off 30 minutes after the dt lights come on.
