My Harbor Freight is having a big 20% off sale. I'm looking at buying a wet tile saw to precision cut hard corals, like chalices. diamond wet band saws are well into the $250s+ so looking at a wet tile saw that will cut all my hard corals with precision for HALF that price. (and take the bone cutters and exacto knives and throw them in a drawer)
Here's the wet tile saw: http://ift.tt/1gYJjRm
> BUT what 7in blade should i buy?
> i would think a diamond blade with continuous rim (?)
> how thin should the blade be? i believe the term is "kerf" and most if not all 7in diamond blades are 0.06in thick.
i am looking at this blade and hoping, given the price, it will last for years cutting hard corals: http://ift.tt/1mhctKC
