Our full spectrum 180W reef lights have been especially popular as they provide a good solution for many tanks that are otherwise difficult to light with high powered LED lighting. Each light is 24” long and will illuminate 30”-36” of tank length. This also means that just 2 can light up to a 6’ tank rather than using 3 120W lights and so are a more cost effective solution.
These lights come with 10 color bands including 6 UV LEDs in the 370-380nm range. Selective optics are applied where the blue and white LEDs get optics for better water column penetration and the red, green, cyan, yellow and UV LEDs do not get optics to increase their light spread and to reduce the chance of hot-spotting.
These lights are available in two main flavors:
CR180D: 180W Manually Dimmable Light with built-in timer for white, blue and moon channels. The white and blue channel intensity are controlled with dimming knobs on the top of the unit.
CR180P: 180W Programmable Dimming light with built-in timer for white, blue and moon channels. The white, blue and moon channel intensity is controlled via the front LCD control panel.
