Does my Clown need an Anename?

I am pretty new to all this and just got a clown. He is doing great but just looks sad without an anename. I dont know if I can just buy a small anename and place it in my tank is the thing. Tanks only 2 months old and i dont have great lighting yet.



Any advice or past experiences are much appreciated.
