Okay, so after the debacle with the killer split pea soup, my tank was pretty much nuked. Have my firefish, a few pieces of coral, a blue leg hermit, a few ceriths left. Tank went through the uglies again, and was in the middle of a hair algae outbreak (which I was letting run its course-no reason not to, really.) Asked at my favourite LFS what to do about snails for the tank, and was sold three trochus. It's been about a month, there's nearly no hair algae left (and a good splattering of coraline on one of the side walls <3 ) and I'm somewhat concerned that my trochus will starve in the tank, considering how good they've been doing at cleaning the gunk out. Is that likely to happen, or should the tank produce enough micro algae that they get enough to eat?
