Hey reefers,
I've got a 35g reef setup with live rock, and live sand as substrate. The tank currently has a bunch of snails, hermit crabs, about 8 peppermint shrimp, and 2 clownfish as well as a bunch of corals and live rock.
I've got a protein skimmer, and two cannister filters.
I'm looking to upgrade the tank to a 80g marine setup. Now, my question is, can I directly transfer everything into the new tank, or will I need to cycle the new tank? If I need to cycle the new tank, is there any way to speed up the cycle process with my current live rock and sand?
Any help is appreciated. Many thanks.
Andrew
