Closed Loop

I'm thinking about adding a closed loop system to my 220 Gallon tank. Will not be drilled. I also already have a good wave maker. So my thoughts are just consent flow no random water moment. What i'm planning is 2 pumps, intake in the overflow boxes. The two output pipes would be right beside them to hide them coming down from the top of the tank. Then T off/plumb in for 8 outlets. 2 in each corner of the tank. 2 in the back next to each over flow box, and 2 in the front near the middle of the tank. Two main questions are.

Would the intake drain my over flow boxes faster then they can fill up?
If I wanted to make the water movement more random is there anything that can safely go inside the tank to do so?
