Diatom outbreak

Hello, I am new to saltwater tanks and I am having an issue with diatom algae growth. Is it something I should worry about or is this part of its course. I've had this tank for 2.5 weeks and have 5 hermit crabs helping me with the algea. I have a 14g biocube with 7.5 lbs of live rock, course gravel live sand and a 240 circulation pump. I have all original lights and bioballs and filter. Thanks
