Serpent stars

This is for all of our Serpent Star keepers on here.....and after looking there seems to be a lot of their fans. Seems to be 'easy', 'peaceful', and generally all around nice addition to a reef. I have a 220 gal. reef, with peaceful fish. My concerns are how are they around my rock work, which is un-fastened, and are they 'escape artists' since my tank is uncovered? And purely subjective I'm sure, but is there one that is preferred above the others? THANKS,
