A custom led build walk through

Hello all. Its so nice building things. I have a couple of friends i work with that have admired my tank from pictures and now they have a 75g of their own up and running. So far they have 2 clowns, a banghaii cardinal and a kole tang, about 70# of rock, around 37x flow with no sump and barebottom for the time being. The only thing i havent let them get are lights so the rocks can purge more without the growth of algae. And now the time has come to build them some lights!

For around 300$ their getting 64 leds ran by a meanwell powersupply, 7 drivers and a coralux storm controller. Here are the details:

75g tank, 48in x 18in x 22in high
Leds:
20 blue 460-465nm
16 royal blue 450-455nm
8 cool white 6000-6500k
8 neutral white 4000-4500k
4 uv 400-405nm
4 uv 410-415nm
And last 2 royal blue and 2 blue for moonlights
All cree leds except the 400-405nm leds

Power stuff:
Meanwell se-350-36 power supply
6 1500ma drivers
1 700ma driver for uv's
and a 300ma driver for the moonlights

Heatsinks:
4x 2in x 22in heatsinks (15 leds per heatsink)

And to top it all off it will be controlled by the coralux storm controller.

I havent actually started putting anything together yet besides the storm case and i have drawn out led assignments on the heatsinks. Ill be attaching the leds to the heatsinks via thermal adheisive on tuesday and i dont expect to work on the build again until friday. There will need to be a little testing after its all done to figure out if any cooling will be needed for the heatsinks, if so i believe a clip on fan will do wonders.

Here are a couple pics, ill have more to come as i build as well as a short soldering how-to video. Enjoy!

There ya go.

P. S. Holly and randy you cannot have your led light with customizeable sunrise/sunset, moonlight effects with programmable cloud and storm functions until you make these nice people a build thread :) see you at work!
