So last friday (10 days ago) I bought a royal gramma and added him/her to my BioCube 29. Acclimated fine, seen him darting in and out of rocks for the first few days. Now no one's seen him since Monday (6 days ago). He was in a pretty big piece of live rock and I saw it move in there so I know it wasn't dead. But now from that Tuesday on it hasn't been seen.
I know from what I've read these fish have a tendency of hiding. And I'm pretty sure that rock he was seen in has a pretty large inner cave you can only get to from inside the rock already [I've got an emerald who darts into the rock and you can't see him until he finally re-emerges from the top].
My question are: (1) does anyone know any ways/ideas to entice it to come out [presuming it's still alive] and (2) having seen some bristle worms [trap got some out, saw some more today] if it did die stuck in the rocks somewhere, what are the odds they've "cleaned" the scene?
Thanks
