Emergency! What should i do!??

Ok so i have well had a 28 gallon nano cube. My 5 year old decided it was ok to "bounce" a golfball off of it.

Needless to say the glass broke.



Now, the tank has only been runninh for 2 months and is barely out of its cycle...

i waited for all readings to be 0ppm and then added 2 clowns.

i now have them in a bucket with heater and airstone.



The only other tank i have is my CURRENTLY cycling 125.

i know many people are against using fish for cycling... but im not doing that. Im not using them to cycle i would be giving them a home rather than the bucket.



Does anyone see why this would not work?

I have NO other tank to use for them. What should i do!



And please if your ONLY reason to say no to putting them in a cycling tank is because its mean to the fish please dont be rude and say it...i know it is and i dont want to. But its that or flush the fish.....
