Does adding live rock change a tank's cycle?

Meaning if I add a bunch more live rock, will the bacteria automatically start eating any ammonia in the tank? Or can adding live rock actually start the cycle over? I want to add more as part of aquascaping, but I don't want the tank to start a mini-cycle. If adding it will help, then I definitely want to. I have about 8 large rocks already, and 3 small ones in my 75 gallon

Also I am talking about already cured live rock that already has algae and purple coralline on it
