Breeding Chasmodes bosquiansus

Unfortunately due to budget issues, I won't be setting up the 30 tall reef that I've been planning on. However, I'm still going to be setting up a SW tank this year (probably around June-August), and a native SW tank at that.

I'm probably going to use a 15 gallon (24"x12"x12") tank with a tidepool theme with animals from the coast of North Carolina. I'll be catching these fish myself via dipnet, seine, trap, or microfishing when I take a (scuba) diving trip down to Morehead City this summer.

For fish, if I can find a pair of Striped Blennys (Chasmodes bosquiansus) then I plan on taking them home with me for this 15 gallon in hopes to get them to eventually spawn for me, though either way whether they spawn or not they're cool fish. If I'm unable to find a pair of them then I'll probably just grab one along who some Fundulus sps or the like, though I won't cover that in this thread.

My current plan is to catch a wild pair this summer, then overwinter them in their tank (letting the temperature drop to 64-66) and when spring-summer comes the temp will slowly rise back up to 72-75. I'll feed the pair a variety of both frozen and live foods to ensure that the female will be gravid enough to spawn. Other inhabitants of the tank will be some local invertibrates and maybe some clams with decor being live rocks, shells, and possibly (though not likely) an anemone.

Has anyone here ever kept and/or bred this species? If so, please share your experience.
