Title says it all.
I have a freshwater tank that I have converted to exclusively RO / DI water as well....can't trust Prime even though I want to..
My family looks at me like an idiot when I tell them I am going to the pet shop to buy water...
This has to cost a fortune....if you have a large reef and you do a regular water change...that's like 40-50 gallons easily.... x 25...well now you just ran your sink enough to fill an above ground pool...for 1 water change!
Plus 100-500 bucks for the unit depending on how cheap you are...and I'm sure there is some sort of filter bag you have to change every X gallons. And the rubbermaids...a 100 gallon+ reef seems like a full time job.
It can't possibly be this bad, right guys?
I live in Chicagoland area if that helps.
