Monticaps mending to glass and overflow...

Hey everyone...



In about a month or so.. I am going to be moving from a 120 gallon to a 180 gallon tank....



I am brainstorming the move of all my livestock... I just had a question about my monticaps.... They have grown and mended themselves onto my glass and my overflow box.... what is the best way to remove them? maybe a very thin razor blade to just try to separate them from the glass and overflow box with a scrape off motion?



I just fear them breaking to much... any tips would be helpful!
