I know most of the people on the forums are apposed to canister filters for SW tanks. But hear me out...
I am curious would it be an effective tool to have if I just use sponges/filters in all the layers of the canister? Or live rock rubble and sponges... I had that idea too...
I have only been running it about 1-2 weeks right and have not noticed any changes to my levels. I assume it takes longer to develop the "bad stuff"
I can't use a sump/refugem right now do to where I live and the amount of space I have for tank. Plus my stand does not have room for it.
Basically I paid 60 bucks for it and don't want it to go to waste. Is there any possibility of using it and not destroying my tank.
