Base rock phosphate DSB

Would it be nuts to run a supplemental dsb on a new tank started with dead rock? I don't wanna wait for it to cook.

Still kinda fuzzy on the cycle, but as I understand it there's organic phosphate bound in the mined rock. This will be leached into my new tank for a long time as bacteria inorganicify it and turgor it outwards as poo. This water phosphate will encourage algae and inhibit coral, and make life less fun. Some of the pieces of inorganic-phos-poo in the water will float through my overflow and into the sump. If they land on a dsb in there, the bacteria in it sort of stair-steps the phos downward by the same turgor until it reaches capacity in a few years because there is no more down.

I was thinking that a dsb in a bucket would be easy and cheap enough for this first round of heavy phosphates. Once things stabilize I could just disconnect and pitch it. If my future bioload and nutrient preferences so indicate, I could build a settling tank then, but who knows, I could go BB too! Really hard to say what the tank is going to be like in 2 years when it doesn't even have water in it yet.

Sorry such a long read, tried to break up the steps in my logic so you guys could explain easier where I went sideways.

Thanks!

PS lotta high nitrate threads around lately, so was thinking a little anoxic enviro would be a bonus?
