Hey all,
i am new to the saltwater aquarium world. I have been doing research on this for over month now. i have also been getting a lot of information from my local fish store (they specialize in saltwater tanks/coral/fish). So far, i have started the cycle. it has been roughly two days now since i had my 75G aquarium. i have ~30lbs of live rock, a double filter (that is keeping the water flow going), live sand and of course the salt water. i was told by the petstore owner that i should wait about 1-1.5 month before adding any live fish.
my main question is, what lighting/canopy/fixture do i need? i was reading past questions similar to mine on these forums, but i am so confused on the terms being used... t5HO...?
my plans for my tank is to have some anemone, hardy anemone, like a bubble tip (BTA ?). do not really care for coral at this moment or at all. i know anemone and coral demand certain lighting, but for now i just care about the anemone.
as for fish, i'm not quite sure what fish i want, as i am still researching on fish and having fun exploring the variety of fish. COMPLETELY DIFFERENT FROM FRESHWATER!:bigeek::thumbup::agree: (i forgot to mention, i also have two ViaAqua titanium heater 300watt with an adjustable setting).
thanks in advance!:blob:
