Hey guys. So I'm pretty sure I found the source for my ammonia problems. I have it all in balance and now all the sudden again its back to 0.25ppm.
First, does the API saltwater master kit work on freshwater...at least the ammonia, nitrite, nitrate tests?
If so then the RODI water that I get at the glacier dispenser by the local grocery store is why I'm getting ammonia. I just tested that water before I mixed it with salt and I read a 0.25 using the API test. nitrite and nitrate is all in check at 0.00ppm. I guess I need to look into my personal RODI unit which I wanted to avoid for right now..
