Freshwater immigrant

Hi, my name is Mario and i started with a 90 gal. freshwater ( african cichlids ) 2.5 years ago. To be honest I wanted a reef tank in the beginning but I wanted to wait till we move from a apartment to a house. A couple of weeks ago we bought a house and moved in. Now it is time to set up the tank. I already realized that I probably have to start from scratch and can't even use the tank. For sure I need a lot of information so I will start reading a lot here and utilize y'alls experience.
