New to Reef from Freshwater

Hi, I am Synaria. I am a total nub. I have always kept freshwater but recently decided to make a change and go reef. So far I only have the 65g Aquarium, some old corals/dry rock from a friend, some sand/crushed coral (75 lbs of it) and an Idea of the filter I want. I'm not going slow because of price, I have that, I want to make sure I do this right and have very few if none, casualties during the setup. I welcome your suggestions and advice as well as any questions you might have for me. Thanks ~ Syn
