Been using Kalk for a few weeks now. Happy with it so far, my alk, and PH numbers are looking great. Using a low dose of 5 teaspoons or so to 10 gallons. Just adding it to my 10 gallon ATO tank. Using a Tunze 5017 ATO. Even have a spare pump since Kalk is tough on pumps. My question is when the 10 gallon tank gets used up do you just refill or dump and clean the tank before refilling? Got the pump suspended about a inch off the bottom so it doesn't suck up the white flakes at the bottom. But seems like this should be dumped out before refilling or should I just leave it?
