cant get KH down in reef tank

I need help I run water through RO/DI unit when I mix saltwater up it stays about 13 I was wondering about running outside air to my skimmer since my sump and tank I mix water up in is in basement with no windows or doors and the upstairs where my 90gal display tank is very airtight house thanks for any suggestions
