Toxins in plastic

Nonylphenol is a chemical used make plastic parts shiny. Nylon hose from the discount hardware store, buckets, plastic elbows etc. have this coating. This coating is very toxic to saltwater fish. Vodka 50/50 mix with water is the break down formula. After cleaning, using some the discarded rinse water add salt, the s.g. of tank water is fine. Brine shrimp egg mixed with this solution will be the test. No hatch equals bad water.
