Hi there, hoping for a bit of help solving a mystery.
I have a 91litre tank with 9kg of live Fiji rock. After a few weeks cycling I added 2 hermit crabs and 2 turbo snails and all was going nicely.
At 5 weeks I bought my first clown fish and for 2 days everything was great. Then on the 3rd day I came down to find him missing. I looked in the rear chambers, pulled the rocks out and checked in all the holes and even sieved the sand and couldn't find him anywhere, I was gutted.
I kept an eye on all my levels and had no ammonia spikes or anything odd going on so thought maybe he had jumped out. I had a perspex lid made and last week added a small fire goby and 2 sexy shrimp. They are still in there 2 weeks later and all seem really happy. So this week I added a yellow coral goby and guess what? The next morning he was gone!!! He is absolutely nowhere to be found so have I got some murderous killer hiding out in my rock somewhere? I don't even know where to start looking so hoping for some suggestions on where to start.
