I have one of the 55 LED Chinese eBay lights over my 40 breeder for now. I am getting either another fixture, or I can get a 6 bulb T5 coralvue with moonlight LED fixture from a local for $50.
What one would you choose? I have had LEDs for a while and have never really given T5 a chance. Some say they are better for coral growth and light scatter so I don't get white bases when the frags become colonies and get shaded out by the directional LEDs.
If T5 can I get some lighting recommendations? I would like a mix of growth and color so thinking something that would come out around 14k?
