Skimmer help for 10 gallon tank

I'm new to reefing but have been wanting to do this for quite some time. Unfortunately my apartment complex will only allow me to have a 10 gallon tank. I purchased a standard size 10 gallon glass tank with plastic rim from petsmart and have a standard glass top lid that has about 2inches of clearance in the back. It is on an appropriately sized stand. I have 6lbs of live rock and 6lbs of carib sea life rock plus 10lbs of live sand. I realize that counts as my bio filter but I am currently running an AC 30 in it. I have a power head in the mail coming.

I want to add a skimmer. I realize I might be able to get away without one but would like to try it regardless.

My issue is clearance in the back with my glass lid. I initially purchased a Hydor Slim Nano as it was highly recommended but it was too thick for the lid to work. I am not interested in a hood.

Can someone please recommend a good skimmer that will fit in my tank? Ideally will be silent and under $150 dollars and won't look awful as I have no place to hide it. I have no sump and I am not interested in starting one.

Thanks!
Aaron
