High Alkalinity and signs of RTN/STN!!! PLZ HELP!!

Hey Guys,

I have a relatively new tank (4 months old) and have decided to start a vinegar dosing regimen. The reason is that I have consistently had high (20 ppm) nitrates and want to lower them to help my sps frags growth. Reason for my high nitrates is that I feed my tank 3 times per day. I have mainly SPS frags (about 8 to 10 of them), some LPS frags, an anemone (fed 1/3 silverside 3 times a week) and a frog spawn frag.

I also have the following livestock:

1 Scribbled Rabbit (med size but eats like cow!)
1 Hippo Tang
1 Yellow Tang
3 small Chromis
1 Coral Banded Shrimp
several clean up crew members (cerith, turbo, hermits, etc)

I followed the conservative approach based on the article that Randy Holmes posted on carbon dosing and used vinegar instead of vodka to avoid cyano. I have been dosing now for exactly 13 days. I have a 90 Gal display and a 30 Gal sump. I've estimated my net water volume very conservatively at 70% of my display tank which brought me to 63 Gallons. This puts me at 8 ml of vinegar to date exactly and I plan to up it to 12 ml this Friday the 9th.

Since I've been dosing vinegar, I have started to notice less polyp extension on my Joe the Coral Acro, Key Lime Aussie Acro, Alien Eye Chalice, and my Super Blue Aussie Acro.

I've read quite a bit online and some have stated that vinegar dosing has caused a high reading of KH. Mine has been shooting off the chart at over 14 dKH.

Full Parameters as of today:

Salinity: 1.026 ppm
Ammonia: 0 ppm
Nitrite: 0 ppm
Nitrate: 20 ppm
Phospate: 0.25 ppm (running carbon and GFO)
PH: 8.3
Ca: 350
KH: over 14 dKH
Mg: 1440

I started dosing calcium as my levels are on the low side. I am manually dosing the max recommended amount per day to get my Ca to at least 400-450 over the week.

My question is: How can I safely lower my Alkalinity while still continuing to dose vinegar??? Have any of you experienced RTN/STN while dosing? Should I stop dosing slowly and try to find another solution to lower my nitrates (while not starving my fish)? Am I missing something??

Note: I have an open top to allow for better gas exchange.
