So even though I have had a reef tank for over 10 years I have always bought my coral at a LFS. Thinking about hitting Lancaster PA for a frag swap on the 17th. Couple questions. It is about a 1:45 minute drive so I figure I can bring a 100 quart cooler or 2. Not sure how to keep the temp up?? How do you walk around and get stuff from different vendors, just walk out to truck with everything or carry a small cooler?
Aside from some logistical help what should I be looking for or red flags. Will be shopping for a little of anything that looks good, sps, lps, nem. Normally only buy from my LFS and trust that not many hitchhiker will be a problem. Thinking I will need to dip these corals before they go in my 175 gallon tank (no quarantine tank).
