10 gal nano AC 30 Filter Media Question

I currently am setting up a 10 gal nano with live rock/sand and beginning the cycle. I have an AC30 running with koralia 240. Working on figuring out if I need a skimmer. My question is, what should I put in the media basket? Currently its running with what it came with out of the box. Ultimate goal is a reef tank with easy corals and a few fish. Thanks
