Blue hippo tang

I got a hippo tang last night and he did well and slept for the night or whatever they do. But as he got up this morning I noticed a little bit of white spots on his side and I'm really worried. If he had ick would the cleaner shrimp clean him or will he die? Once I figure out how to put a picture I will. The tank is 125 with a coral beauty
