yesterday i installed a 5 stage ro system that i bought from ebay.(http://ift.tt/2tBos1P)
here in israel tap water is hard,my tap water tds is 500 to 540.after doing all the installation and flushing the system' i get only 50 to 60 ppm.same thing today,i use an EZ tds meter from ebay also.my line pressure is 60 psi.
filters are installed in this order: sediment-granular carbon-block carbon-ro membrane 50gpd-inline carbon cocos filter.
i measured the tds after the membrane also because i thought that maybe the last filter rises my ppm reading but i get also 55ppm.
how can others receive better results like 10 to 15ppm?maybe the membrane is bad quality?
