So I'm getting back into it with a 220g acrylic with dual overflow boxes. I plan to put 300 to 400 lbs of live rock in the tank. I have 2 60g glass tanks I might put under the 220g. For sure I will do some sort of filter sock and a good skimmer. I want to do a bare bottom so I can easily keep it free of detritus.
From what I read a refugium is not suited for fowlr tanks. So which is better more life rock or wet/dry bio ball set up? I have a friend moving and I can get all the live rock I want.
