Welcoming questions on my Biocube!

Hello my name is Chris and i just purchased a new Coralife 29g tank. My only questions for now are dealing with the Stock lighting and run times. I have noticed that the "Blue fluorescent" bulb runs with the fans. Does this need to be on 24/7? The lovely instructions do not clarify this and i dont want to jack this thing up! I was hoping to have the leds on 24/7 and switch between the white light and blue light for day and night, im just worried about the fans not running all the time if they need to be.
