Sadly I've decided to break down my 300g reef this month because my long-term living situation is uncertain right now. I have about 300 lbs of live rock that I am systematically cooking in salt water bins, and I plan to dry the rocks and store them in boxes lined with thick plastic.
I'm wondering if this is a good idea or is there a better way to prepare the rocks for long term storage (~3 or 4 years) :cry:
What about the sand? I have so much of it, can it be prepped for long term storage in any way?
Just for the heck of it I'm going to post some pics of my tank for enjoyment.
