Peppermint Shrimp Disappearing

Hey guys I put a peppermint shrimp in my tank the night before to see how it did in my tank, and After I put him in He disappeared. I'm not sure if that's what these shrimp do or if he's under stress from the move, I know my water was good because I did some test myself and I even had the fish store test the water and they said everything was good.

I'm wondering a lot how this guys doing because If he doesn't do well I don't want to put other shrimps in my tank.
